Update for members of the Israel Golf Association: Progress in the construction of new golf courses

We are happy to update you on the latest developments in the field of golf in Israel:

1. Omer:

As part of a plan to expand the Ba'Omer Industrial Park by approximately 3,300 dunams, a golf park with 18 courses and a 200-room hotel are planned. Recently, the Israel Land Authority issued tenders for the construction of a gas station, an event park, and commercial complexes in the park, as part of the overall plan.

2. Lod:

The plan to build a golf course in Lod is currently in the initial stages of approval by the district planning committees. The Golf Association is advising the Lod Municipality on this issue, and the association's leaders have participated in several meetings with the mayor, the city engineer, the CEO of the Economic Company, and the CEO of the Ministry of Tourism. These meetings motivated the current move, which focuses solely on building a golf course.

In addition, the Golf Association is initiating another project in collaboration with the Lod Municipality, which is examining the possibility of establishing a driving range complex in the city's Railway Park. The feasibility of the project is currently being examined, and a decision on the matter is expected to be made in the coming weeks.

3. Eilat:

The Israel Land Authority and the Ministry of Tourism have issued a tender for the construction of a golf and hotel complex in northern Eilat. The planned complex will cover approximately 850 dunams and will include a standard golf course on an area of approximately 600 dunams, a golf academy, a hotel with 560 rooms, commercial space and employee housing. The current tender is another attempt to advance the project, after previous tenders were unsuccessful.

We will continue to update you with further developments as the projects progress.
